Set in the heart of Murdoch, approximately 15 kilometres south of the Perth CBD, our hospital is part of a vibrant community well serviced by public transport, retail outlets, cafés and other recreational facilities.
The hospital is surrounded by leading health research and education facilities – including Murdoch University, St John of God Hospital and an on-site medical research facility operated by the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Childcare facilities
A 102-place childcare facility is located in the southern boundary of our hospital campus. The facility caters for children from six weeks to 5 years of age and operates 7 days a week between 6am and 6pm (subject to demand) to coincide with regular shift hours. The childcare facility is run by Wanslea Early Learning and Development (external site). Staff can express interest and find out further details by contacting the Centre Coordinator on 6165 3555.
