Medical Imaging Fellowships

The Radiology department at Fiona Stanley Hospital also provides services to Fremantle Hospital (external site), Rockingham and Murray District hospitals (external site). Our consultants represent a variety of subspecialty interests and are focussed on high quality service delivery and training.

In addition to radiology registrar training, the department offers a variety of subspecialty fellowship positions, as outlined below.  These typically run over one year, starting in February.

In addition to subspecialty reporting and training, fellows are also expected to perform general radiology reporting and procedures, allowing some scope for tailoring exposure according to individual preferences. The fellow will participate in the registrar/fellow on call roster and in registrar teaching.

There is a collegial atmosphere within the department, and a good working relationship with our clinical colleagues is valued.

Who can apply

Applications are welcomed from local and international graduates who hold fellowships with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent international qualification, and who have, or will have, completed specialist training upon commencement of the program.
