Ann said, it was a terrible feeling because she knew something was wrong but couldn’t get into the house initially. “I’d left my keys inside when I went for a walk as Paddy was home so my neighbour had to help me, and that’s when we found Paddy unconscious by the computer desk he was sitting at only half an hour earlier and I called an ambulance,” Ann said. Paddy’s time in our health system was one of true teamwork from first diagnosis through to recovery and help in his home, and it is this team approach that Paddy and Ann are truly thankful for receiving.
