The WA Cervical Cancer Prevention Program (WACCPP) can provide a range of resources and support to organisations seeking to promote cervical cancer prevention in the community.
Presentations and education sessions
The WACCPP delivers presentations and educational workshops on cervical screening for community groups and health professionals. Please contact the WACCPP for bookings.
Resources
Printed resources
A wide range of resources for health professionals and women can be ordered from the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) (external site).Some NCSP resources are available in other languages, large print and braille.
The WACCPP also offers resources specifically developed for WA women, including Aboriginal women.
Cervical Screening Flipchart Resource
The Cervical Screening Flipchart Resource has been produced to support healthcare providers in WA to engage with Aboriginal women about the importance of regular cervical screening. The resource has been developed in consultation with the WACCPP and BreastScreen WA Aboriginal Women’s Reference Group, WA Aboriginal women and healthcare providers.
To request a copy, complete a Resource Order and Equipment Loan Request Form and email to the WACCPP.
Equipment loans
The WACCPP can loan banners and gynaecological models to support events that promote cervical cancer prevention in the community. Both can be couriered to and from your workplace free of charge. To request to loan equipment, complete the Resource Order and Equipment Loan Request Form and email to the WACCPP
Letter templates for cervical screening and follow-up
A suite of adaptable letter templates has been developed to assist healthcare providers with the delivery of recall and reminder systems for cervical screening and follow-up.
