A community open day held at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) on Saturday 26 October attracted a huge turn-out, with over 2,000 members of the community keen to find out more about the hospital.

The hospital concourse was opened to the public for the very first time, allowing people to step inside Western Australia’s newest public hospital for a glimpse of things to come, and the crowd enjoyed entertainment by the Cornerhouse Jazz Band and a free sausage sizzle.

Hospital staff were on hand to talk to people about jobs, volunteering and the types of clinical services that will be available when FSH opens in October 2014.

If you were unable to attend the open day, you can register your interest in jobs and volunteering on this website.
