February 1, 2018

GPs are invited to attend a collaborative and interactive learning event, which will also provide opportunities for clinical engagement between GPs and Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) specialists.

The event, to be held on Saturday 10 March, is presented by South Metropolitan Health Service and FSH in partnership with WA Primary Health Alliance and HealthPathways WA.

Education sessions will focus on assessment, early detection and management in primary care. Interactive case studies and practical sessions will promote connections between primary and specialist care.

Presentations include:

  • Connecting care: an Aboriginal perspective
  • Managing the use of medicinal cannabis in WA: the line between sensible compassion and industry optimism
  • Rapid access: fast-tracking detection and management of head and neck cancer.

Read the flyer (PDF 424KB) for the full list of presentations and learning outcomes.

The event has 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points. Parking vouchers are available and morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Registrations are essential and close Friday 2 March 2018. Register online now (external site).
